Temple Coffee is opening a new midtown location. How's that?
First 60 in line get a souvenir coffee cup so maybe an all night camp out in tents would work!
Capitol City International Brewfest
Leave it to Sacramento's Turn Verein society to throw an International rager. The Turn Verein have a long history in Sacramento dating back to the mid 1800's and are known to throw on hell of an Oktoberfest at their J street Hall.
Old Sac St Patrick's Day Parade
The F#@* me I'm Irish buttons will be out in force and so will the green beer drinkers but I can live with that. My ancestry is Scot so i can hang with green and bagpipes just fine.
Hundreds of festive and perhaps Kilt wearing marchers dressed in Green along with Drummers and Pipers will be weaving through Old Sac as well as dancers and history re-enactors join together with several cultural organizations to have a good green time. Cause everybody is Irish on St Paddys.
Make sure to get there by 1 PM and it starts at 2nd & I streets. More than 15,000 have turned out in the past so let the luck of the Irish navigate you to a parking spot or better yet get delivered by someone else.
On a side note Old Sacramento will be closed to traffic from Noon to 3 PM with some streets closing at 10 am. Make sure to use Public Parking lots or be dropped off.
It's kinda like High School Prom in theory. Beer, dancing, but probably less pointing and things to scar one for the rest of their lives. Sacramento beer week throws down Beer Prom 3/4/16 at the California Auto Museum.

An 80's decor beer drinking with the staff dressed up in Prom attire plus a DJ spinning retro 80 radical tunes. Plus all the classic iron of the museum to check out... just don't get behind the wheel. Craft brews from local breweries like: New Helvetia, American River, Yolo, Loomis, Knee Deep, Hoppy, Oak Park, Auburn Alehouse, 12 Rounds, Heretic, Out of Bounds, and so many more.
There's even a bunch of door prizes to win like River Cats Tickets. Tickets are $40 pre-registered or $50 at the door but for designated drivers it's much cheaper.
