Dia de los Muertos
lets just call this the official Dia de los Muertos for Sacramento as it's put on by the Latino Center of Art and Culture. So if you want to see a traditional ethnic celebration of those deceased family members this is it. Family friendly in it's own way and a way for a generation who didn't know their relatives to connect with those gone. Plus it's a time for fun mixed in with the sad emotions of loss.
Honoring death but also the cycle of life.

City of Tree's Art & Ink
Amazing art and Ink on Flesh can go hand in hand. They both take an artist to make the magic happen. The City of Tree's Art and Ink Expo merges them at the Sacramento Convention Center this weekend. See art. See ink. See ink imitate art and vice versa. Get some Ink. Get some art! you get the picture. The fit together naturally.

Oktoberfest at Turn Verein
Get as close to Oktoberfest as you can without leaving town. Oompa the night away at Sacramento with some kraut, schnitzel, and lots of bier.
Sacramento's biggest Oktoberfest is in the Turn Verein building on J street both Friday and Saturday.
It's kinda like Munich visits Sacramento and leaves you a hangover.
