Sacramento Women's MarchIt was a big statement. A lot of people thought that it was just anti trump but it was so much more than that. A preemptive strike at making a statement that certain rights are enjoyed. A lot of love was felt to overcome all the hate that was said. Here are some pics from the Walk. It was a massive body of people. We left Southside Park and got all the way to the Capitol while people where still leaving from the Park. Thousands upon thousands. Peaceful! Here's some signage action. My favorite sign. It cuts to the Core
San Luis ObispoAs far as smaller cities go San Luis Obispo is A ok by us. We love it there. So since January is a SLOW month we drove down to SLO for the weekend hitting up a few usuals but also going further to Solvang.
Welcome to the New Year and being part of the Pacific Northwest. A wild rainy start to a year certain to be tumultuous with a lot of changes. I've been enjoying the rain though although trying to stay out of it as much as possbile and just casually observe it while drinking a coffee or some tea. Rainy days are made for staring out the window sipping something warm.
I'm a dork for snow so when it started raining I headed for the hills. I got off work early told everyone my plans with them laughing at me. But I did it. Left work and headed up the Apple Hill posting pictures on social media. I just had to touch the snow and get an apple donut. They wished I brought back donuts.
